UK Event Ticketing Support Specialist



Job Description



Red61 is a ticketing software company, that provides services and consultancy to festivals and venues worldwide. We are the ticketing solution that powers the world’s two biggest arts festivals - Edinburgh Festival Fringe and Adelaide Fringe – along with many other high-profile international events.



We provide a highly-flexible ticketing system, able to adapt to the ever-changing needs of our clients. Red61’s e-ticket scanning & web-based integration allows organisations the freedom to operate their box office on a small or large scale. These unique capabilities enable Red61’s clients to provide a high quality of service and experience for their customers.



Our client base is undergoing major expansion worldwide, and we’re looking to add a UK-based Senior Support Specialist to our team. The Senior Support Specialist will work as part of our Customer Care team, providing support to Red61 clients using their ticketing software.



Main Duties:

  • Manage support tickets using the support system. Work within our service level agreements to provide a timely resolution to requests, escalating if necessary.
  • Ensure that completed tickets are closed including those assigned to other staff.
  • Provide out-of-hours support on a rota basis.
  • Provide onsite support if/when necessary.
  • Provide training to clients and colleagues both face-to-face and remotely.
  • Support users of our software. Users can be our clients or colleagues in other departments.



Other Duties:



  • Maintain a good relationship with clients and keep contact details up to date with organisational changes such as new staff, or changes to contact details.
  • Write and maintain support documents in line with the development of the software.
  • Keep your system skills up to date.
  • Assist with software testing as and when required. This may be a fix relating to a support ticket or a new functionality being released.



Job Requirements



About You:

  • A minimum of 2 years Box Office Supervisor experience is essential.
  • An excellent communicator in person, on the phone, and in writing.
  • A competent level of basic computer skills is essential, with extended knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite desirable.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced role and remaining calm under pressure.
  • Experience in a customer service environment, and ability to multitask when required.
  • Previous experience using a ticketing system in a busy environment is essential.
  • Previous experience using Red61 Ticketing System is desirable.

Part-Time Finance and Admin Assistant



Job Description



Red61 is a successful live event ticketing software company, providing software to venues, festivals and events around the world. We are the ticketing solution that drives sales for the largest arts festival in the world, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, as well as other clients across the UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the US.



Position Overview:

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per year pro rata

**Applicants must have the right to work in the UK. **

Remote working with regular attendance required at Edinburgh office.



We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Finance and Admin Assistant to join our team in Edinburgh. Working with the Financial Controller, you will provide crucial support in financial operations and general administrative tasks. Your role will involve maintaining financial records, processing invoices, managing expenses, and assisting with administrative duties to ensure the smooth operation of our organisation. The ideal candidate should possess strong numerical skills, excellent attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.



Job Requirements



Finance Administration



  • Liaise with Financial Controller on day-to-day accounts matters.
  • Process purchase invoices (via Dext & Xero) and resolve queries with suppliers.
  • Input payments at banks for authorisation.
  • Management of company Pleo account.
  • Liaise with Ops team to obtain sales reports for invoicing.
  • Raise sales invoices and maintain invoice schedule.
  • Resolve customer queries on sales invoices.
  • Debtor management - working with Account Manager where required.
  • Support Financial Controller during audit process.
  • Misc. financial admin e.g., Administer PayPal/ Ride2work / Childcare vouchers schemes.



Payroll & Pension Administrator


  • Liaise with payroll suppliers in UK, Canada, and Australia re weekly and monthly payroll.
  • Maintain payroll records.
  • Input monthly staff wages at bank for authorisation.
  • Workplace Pension administration and compliance/onboarding new employees into scheme.
  • File workplace insurance schemes in Canada & Australia.
  • Ensure completion of annual payroll returns - Canada & Australia.



Human Resources

  • Finalise job specs for recruitment.
  • Place advertisements via Recruitee.
  • Liaise with recruiters.
  • Liaise with applicants / Coordinate interviews.
  • Seek references / provide references for ex-staff.
  • Gather new permanent staff start information, carry out checks, issue contract & other documentation.
  • Co-ordinate the process of onboarding new starts via New Start Checklist.
  • Maintain staff handbook.
  • Maintain staff annual leave and sickness records.



Qualifications and Skills

  • 3 years + proven experience in finance and administrative roles.
  • Experience with Xero, Dext, Wise accounting systems preferable.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
