At Red61, we exist to help people enjoy great experiences. As we look back on 2025, it was a year where our commitment to solving problems and building strong relationships truly took centre stage.
By combining our technical expertise with a passionate, collaborative approach, we supported our partners through some of their most successful seasons yet.
Records Smashed
Our primary passion for Collaboration has led us towards strengthening partnerships across festivals, venues, and agencies in our supported regions.
In 2025, our platform provided the flexible, reliable tools needed to power some of the world’s most iconic events:
- Adelaide Fringe: Celebrated another record year, surpassing 1 million tickets sold for the third year running.
- Edinburgh Festival Fringe: We continued our partnership with the world’s biggest arts festival and its linking venues, supporting the sale of over 2.6 million tickets.
- Edmonton Fringe: Completed their most successful season ever with more than 140,000 tickets sold – a 30% increase on their previous record.
- Edinburgh’s Hogmanay: Over 115,000 attendees attended events across four days in December to ring in the New Year in the Scottish capital.
This was in addition to the continual support provided to clients in all corners of the globe, partnerships we look forward to building on in 2026.
Strengthening Our Foundations
In 2025, we placed a strong focus on Integrity and being a dependable partner that our clients can trust:
- Maximising Operations: We worked side-by-side with partners across all regions to optimise box office operations at scale.
- Enhanced Support: We implemented new internal processes to bolster our responsiveness during the busiest times of the year.
- AWS Resilience: We continued to strengthen server availability by leveraging the latest AWS cloud hosting technologies to ensure a robust, high-performing service.

Innovation with a Purpose
Our drive for Innovation is all about simplifying complexity and creating intuitive tools for event organisers:
- FOH V2 App: We launched a new chapter for our access-control platform with the Front Of House V2 app released on Android and iOS devices.
- Digital Memberships: We introduced custom-branded digital membership cards for Apple and Google Wallet, reducing our environmental footprint while increasing ease of access.
- Artist Empowerment: Major improvements to our artist ticket management portal now allow for unique promo codes and exclusive discount offers to be added by artists and promoters, saving time during busy periods.
- Secure Phone Sales: We created a fully compliant payment link option for phone sales, ensuring security while supporting those with specific accessibility requirements.

Looking Ahead to 2026
Our goal remains to be an industry leader known for agility and product innovation.

A good example of where we’re heading is our latest Front of House app. We focused heavily on the user experience there to make sure it’s as straightforward and helpful as possible for your teams. It’s been a significant step forward for us, and it serves as the blueprint for how we want all our tools to feel moving forward.
